Holy Crap!

This year I did my taxes online at TaxAct.com, and e-filed both my state and federal returns for a total of $17. In previous years I'd used H&R Block's TaxCut software, and TaxAct was just as easy to use. Anyway, I filed about two weeks ago.

Both of my refunds have already been deposited in my checking account, 10 days or less from filing.

I am surprised to discover that rather than paying $700 as we did last year, even with three kids in school, we will get a big six dollars back. Great, I can get lunch as Subway for once....

I'm still waiting for my forms from TIAA-CREF so I can file.

holy crap is right, I just bought TaxCut for the upteenth time and installed it, not knowing anything about this program.

I assume you can save it and go back to it right?

Yes, I went back to it several times before finally submitting it.
