I feel like crying; it's like the early 70s when I was newly married and beginning teaching-- inflation, gas lines, mortgage rate at 17%. Now I am old and retired and wonder what our nation will be like for the grandkids. Everything is upside down.
I fear for my grandkids as well. The one thing that keeps me going is the knowledge that as woke parents continue pushing their worldview on kids, kids will eventually push back. The Vietnam War protesters evolved into Reagan voters. I think Biden has reached Peak Woke and his increasingly gaffetastic behavior is going to prove even more problematic at the midterms. All we can do is work to keep our own kids and grandkids from becoming woke zombies. So far only one of my kids is semi-woke, and I'm hoping when the Biden taxes hit that will be over.
