Indiana Jones
I saw the new movie today. It was fine--I'd give it a B--but it certainly wasn't the best of the series.
After reading this story, though, maybe I'll reconsider =)
Members of Russia's Communist Party are calling for a nationwide boycott of the new Indiana Jones movie, saying it aims to undermine communist ideology and distort history.
Darren, you just got dumped from my daily blogroll.
Last Crusade?? Over the original Raiders!?!?
Blasphemy!!
I also agree with the "eh, it was nice" rating. The way I look at it, Indy Jones was about good live action stunts with on location shoots. The CGI really dumbs the action down.

Yeah the Russians have always been so forthcoming with their history. I wonder if they have faithfully documented all those pogroms?

Har! If distorted history the communists would end up smelling like roses.
I haven't seen the movie yet but one review made the interesting point that the "Indiana Jones" commies came off worse then the "Indiana Jones" Nazis.
I wonder how that's playing in the world of political correctness?
What's your favorite movie in the series?
Last Crusade. It's hard to top Sean Connery.
That's my favorite as well.
