I mean, sure, this author is entitled to his opinions. But his opinions are stupid if he lists Journey's Don't Stop Believin' and Toto's Africa as overrated.
Come on now. He's as unhinged as a liberal if he believes that. Maybe for just thinking that.

But the lyrics of those songs still make no sense, regardless of the music or the nostalgia behind them! ;-)

His reasons for not liking most of these songs do not address why they were rated so high. His #1 for instance didn't make it with him because he is a Christian. However, for many children of the 60's, this was almost an anthem of their beliefs. This gent definitely did not do his homework and just wrote his own personal beliefs without paying attention all aspects of the song in its time and place.
