Another Reason Not To "Appreciate" The UN

NEW YORK, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Up to about a third of the $590 million U.N. fund spent for the Indian Ocean tsunami relief may have gone to pay for overhead.

Like we need another reason not to trust the UN? How about the fact that they have made it oh-so-possible for Saddam to have gone so long acting the way he did and funding him? If I were King they would have been booted out years ago. It doesn't surprise me one bit the the UN would blow 1/3 of the money for the tsunami victims in administrative costs! I am surprised however that it was only 1/3!

Oh I don't know...maybe they just need a little focus...you've probably seen the "Freedom Tower", they building they're replacing the WTC in NY with...I've always said just rebuild the towers, only make them 1500 ft...and then move the UN to the stop of the new towers....something to focus their attention on what is really important.
