“Some children would consider it threatening, who are scared about shootings in schools or shootings in the community,” Bradshaw said. “Kids don’t think about ‘Cowboys and Indians’ anymore, they think about drive-by shootings and murders and everything they see on television news every day.”
Because some teachers etc. are just paranoid and delusional. I was VP at a middle school in Albuquerque in the late 90s, we had a 8th grade student that wore a black army trench coat all the time, since 6th grade. I liked the kid, he was a Jethro Tull and Rush fan, and very well spoken. After Columbine , I had 5 teachers that were always trying to get the kid expelled because they were in fear of what he was going to do. They even took it to the union as a school safety issue that I would not address. I had done a threat assessment and spoken to his psychologist and school counselor, the only issue the kid had was a divorce, but to these teachers he was going to kill them and I had to get him off campus NOW!!!
Kid stayed on campus, I got 5 bad evaluations from the staff and then move to Reno…much saner.
I love Jethro Tull. I agree, some teacher are worse than the kids. Some teachers need to get a grip on what's going on in school. Get out of the teacher's lounge.

There was one worse than that. Did you see the story of two special ed teachers who gave a peanut-allergic child a PB sandwich and then tried to cover up where he had come in contact with it?

Wow. Are we projecting much?

My son is hoping his son pulls something like this with a similar kneejerk reaction so that he can retire at 30 after the lawsuit and settlement.
