April 19, 1775

Over a year before the Declaration of Independence, American militia stood before the British at the Battle of Lexington.

Pause for a moment today and think of the significance of that event.

Actually, a very ragged militia stumbled out of the local pub and lined up before the British.

Now really pause and think about that!

Now, now... They did stand there a few hours prior... It's just that the british took so long to get there and it was so cold out...
