Education, politics, and anything else that catches my attention.
Congratulations! You've discovered winter.
Happily enough, Climategate keeps perking along. Hopefully, another shoe will drop presently either from our unknown whistle-blower or from some scientist who withdraws work based on CRU data from publication. That should signal the collapse of the pretense of consensus which, in the absence of science, is all the greenie-weenies have had to hang their hats on.
I have to believe that the Global Warming adherents knew something was up, which is why they changed the name to "Global Change" a few months back. We have also had a very cold November including snow flurries in north Texas, rare for this time of year. Sure there have been winters where we hardly went below zero. But there have also been winters where we had ice for weeks and more than a foot of snow with dramatic ice storms. It's cyclical. Like the weather. Go figure.
