The politicization of classroom instruction leads not only to indoctrination but also, as the California student noted, to lower student achievement. “It’s not a school’s place to impose on the students any viewpoint,” he observes. “What we need to do is really encourage achievement for all people.”
When they can't give you good government, they give you "woke" government. When they can't give you good education, they give you "woke" education.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise. With the NEA and their teachers' organization looking uncritically at using Drag Queens to entertain children in the classroom, the reliance of CRT to soothe the conscienses of the lefties and keeping the children at home too long during the Coronavirus period. The education system should not look too far for someone to blame for poor learning scores.
If the faculty and administration worried as much about providing rigorous methodologies and credible text books instead of agonizing over how best to guide youngsters who want to go through gender trnsition, the scores would probably reflect the change in focus.
