While I don't like large nuclear powers randomly invading smaller countries, I think it's good to remember there are no innocents here. Sure, there are residential areas being bombed, but Ukraine has a long history of corruption. Starting a war would be a very convenient way of destroying evidence and witnesses to corruption by American officials. This is one crime lord taking over an area from another. In that light it's more like the St. Valentine's Day Massacre than the Nazis taking over the Canary Islands. This has the earmarks of "Let's you and him fight." Here's an analytical take on it.

I think you meant this comment for another post, but still--let's not justify invading a country because "they're so corrupt". If that were the standard, *NOT* invading a country would be the exception!
