On Wednesday I had a coronavirus test. When I woke up this morning I had an email waiting for me--no sign of the virus. I'm 'rona-free.
If I were more talented I'd rewrite the lyrics to The Knack's 1979 hit My Sharona and make my own music video--but I'm not that talented.
Saw this today and it struck home:

Nothing irritates me more than politicians who claim that you have to choose between taking the economy seriously and taking public health seriously. Nonsense. Look at Australia. No panic. No hysteria. They kept their focus and did the right thing. They have had under a hundred covid 19 deaths in the whole country. Now they are opening up and their economy is ready to start roaring back.
I believe the test has a 40% false negative rate(if you're talking about the nasal swab, that is).
Re My Corona, here's an excellent version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojrtwXqqc6g
Using today's figures, the number of virus cases in the US is less than 1/2 of 1% (.0045). As a logical person in the over 65 group, I'll take my chances. The odds are in my favor if I use a little common sense. Apparently, the politicians have very little of that. The media (Chicken Little) have frightened too many. If you are concerned, stay home. Stop infringing on my right to self-determination.
My version of the song would be "No Corona" :-)
