Licence Plates

Here in Sacramento we don't see too many non-native license plates.  We're a couple hours' drive from Nevada, and several hours from either Oregon or Arizona.

On the way to work this morning, though, I saw two interesting plates.  The first was from Distrito Federal--Mexico City!--and the second was a consular plate (country unkown).

When we moved from the DC area to the Twin Cities, we immediately noticed that we saw few license plates from other states; pretty much limited to a few from neighboring states at the Mall of America. My DH was military,so one of the kids' favorite games had been to count the number of different state tags in a particular military parking lot. It was common to see at least 20, plus various diplomatic plates.
