Pretty good list and I heard every one of them when released. I do have some comments as to each one's "one-hit wonder" status.
10. The Vapors: Yep, definitely their only hit and pretty much only song worth listening to IMHO.
9. ? & The Mysterians: Same as #10 but a couple of their others can be tolerated in the background.
8. Chumbawamba: I can't stand that earworm of a song, but also couldn't stop listening to it. They actually have other good songs but none made it in the US.
7. Blind Melon: Give me that one hit and leave the rest to the dustbin of music history.
6. The Knack: Seriously? One-hit wonder is not valid as their better IMO song, Good Girls Don't hit #11 here and is a personal favorite from my teen years. Maybe 2-hit wonder but definitely not 1-hit.
5. Soft Cell: Another 2-hit wonder with their cover of Where Did Our Love Go. Admittedly though that second song did not chart very high. It did get airplay though.
4. Big Country: Ugh, as much as I like their one hit, the other two that made it to the hot 100 are nails on a chalkboard.
3. Norman Greenbaum: OK, 1-hit wonder but I still love Canned Ham!
2. Dexys Midnight Runners: 1-hit but I actually like them as background music.
1. A-ha: If you are going to have 1-hit, what a way to put an exclamation point on it with arguably the best-ever music video.
