Over the past 50 years, there hasn't been a progressive idea that the ruling powers in the I-5 Urban Corridor (Portland to Eugene, and the southern Rogue Valley) haven't liked. Virtue signaling is the whole point, rather than actually addressing the root of the problems (or the perceived "problems" that are manufactured outrages).
