It's Not Just Out-of-Bounds Now, It's Pathological

Liberals are getting sicker by the day:
NEW CIVILITY UPDATE: Someone on Capitol Hill just doxxed Republican Sens. Mike Lee, Orrin Hatch, and Lindsey Graham. “Somebody working from a House of Representatives office is editing the Wikipedia pages of Republican senators to post what looks like their home addresses.”
Flashbacks:
DC restaurant: We’ve received death threats after Cruz, wife forced out by protesters.
Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ): We Are Less Than 60 Days From Totally ‘Kicking the S–t Out of the Republicans.’
Networks Silent On Attempted Stabbing of GOP Candidate By Anti-Trump Attacker.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) Jokes About Threatening Trump Supporters ‘All The Time.’
Bernie Bro James T. Hodgkinson, Attempted Assassin Of Steve Scalise, Already Being Erased From History.
Why are Democrats so violent?
If you're a liberal, what do you have to say about this?  Do you support what too many in your party are saying and doing?

I was having lunch with some left leaning teachers a few weeks ago. They were talking about how they really don't want to say anything about what leftists are doing (out of fear.) They prefer to wait quietly to see what will happen. They admitted to certain people (like Don Lemon) being too far to the left but don't want to say anything for fear of being called things like "racist", "sexist", "homophobic", etc.
There we have it... the far left has hijacked the party that used to be about "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" and the good people today are too afraid to say anything.
The "ish" will hit the fan, soon. It won't be pretty.

As you know, I live in Texas, in a largely Republican district. While there are a few Beto O Rourke signs people are scared to death to have any signs for Republicans. I think this fear is well founded since a few people have had vandalism and threats left on cars and in mailboxes simply based on campaign signs. Seeing how insanely motivated toward violence at anyone who doesn't fall in lockstep with their agenda, I have to consider that ALL Democrats are vested in this radically violent attitude.

This is why I will never, for the rest of my life, vote for a Democrat. The public crucifixion of Brett Kavanaugh without evidence or witnesses is the ghost of Stalin's "show me the man and I'll show you the crime" attitude. We had a revolution to push away the Napoleonic Rule of Law that had different penalties based on who you knew instead of issues. Right now, we are at a turning point. Where we go from here is largely based on the midterms.

I post this on Instapundit every single time Ed Driscoll posts his Hodgkinson blurb. Once, I did it on three of his posts in a single day:

It was NOT the attempted assassination of Scalice: it was the attempted assassination of half a dozen Republican lawmakers. Hodgkinson wanted a body count, not just one Rep

"Some people just need killin', and communists are among them. If any need to be kept alive it's only as showpieces"

Who wrote those violent, threatening words? The reality is that there are extremists on both ends of the political spectrum. They do not represent the majority of us in the sane middle.

I'm teaching The Crucible in Am Lit and I don't dare bring up what is an astoundingly current example of a witchhunt. It's too polarizing to talk about politics right now, which is frightening because we ought to be able to discuss what is happening with juniors and seniors in hs. I can't even talk about my conservative views when I'm in the faculty lounge. Anyone who disagrees with the liberal viewpoint is labeled--well you all know the labels thrown at us. I think there are millions of us who don't take part in polls, don't broadcast what we think, and yet, we VOTE. If the Republicans out here don't vote in record numbers in November, God help our nation.

Anonymous: I have a similar situation although I live in a conservative suburb, most of our teachers range from liberal to insanely liberal. I say nothing. In fact after the election in 2016 it was me and two other conservative teachers in a locked room toasting it with our money cups of coffee. I have been on the receiving end of this type of accusation with no evidence MO from liberal children. I nearly quit teaching then in 2013. Right now we have so many kids who think they know what's what based on what their favorite comedian or rapper. They don't read and they certainly don't read all sides. I'm going ahead and putting in for a personal day the day after the election. One way or another I don't want to talk about it.

Anonymous, if there was ever a teachable moment this is it. You need to step up here. You can provide balance by recalling that the president led chants of "lock her up, lock her up" about someone who was never charged with anything. Locking up the Japanese during WWII is another. McCarthy baselessly accusing people of being communists, feeding the 'red scare'. There are lots of examples of witch hunts.
I'm not being snarky. Witch hunts are dangerous for all of us. No better place to confront them than in the schools. That's why they pay us the big bucks. (Now that is snarky).

Anonymous, I didn't know who said thw quote "Some people just need killin', and communists are among them. If any need to be kept alive it's only as showpieces"

So I Googled it. You know in all of Google, the only place it shows up is in the comment section of the Right on the Left Coast Blog. So who said it if not you?

I found it both comical and appalling that a CNN commentator said after Senator Graham's outburst: "What the hell is Graham so mad about".

Does one really need to ask?

Please, Republicans, every one vote at this next election!
