autoexec.bat - a batch file!! You could also use them on Dec clusters running VMS :)

AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS; the first for executables, and the second for device drivers.

When someone told me that autoexec.bat was a MS-DOS startup file, I was dumbfounded. I had thought it was a cudgel to beat Lee Iacocca with!
