I heard that "wage garnishment" soundbite while I was listening to the radio this PM, and I about had a cow right there in the driver's seat.

Aren’t you amazed by something? The fact that on “This Week Desperately Needs David Brinkley” Mrs. Bill Clinton was actually pressed on something by Georgie Stephanopoulos. Would you have ever thought it!
I think there is another terms for this "wage garishment"...tax increase.
I've got a slapdown of Hillary's plan up that reveals why she has exactly the wrong solution.
On one hand, it doesn't surprise me at all because in order to make the numbers work, she has to pull in everyone. On the other hand, just as with the systems in Canada and UK, you will have people who pay into the national system, but who go outside the system for "real" medical services. It's still a two tiered system, it's just that we end up paying for our own medical AND someone else's.
