Saturday Trivia

The answer to yesterday's question is:
4, with wins over the Bengals in '82 and '89, over Miami in '85, and over Denver in '90. Steve Young quarterbacked the 49ers in the team's 5th Super Bowl win, over San Diego in '95.

Today's question is:
Who was the original drummer for The Beatles?

Pete Best?

His last name was Best as I recall. That piece of information is the result of a record called "Best of the Beatles" in which he was the performer rather than those we call the Beatles. I don't remember his first name although Don comes to mind, but that may be because I went to school with a classmate named Don Best.

Poor old Pete Best, I believe. I wonder whatever happened to him?

Pete Best.

On second thought, scratch Don as Best's first name. I should have thought about it longer before answering, but I was in a hurry. I now think it was Peter, but I'd only give that about a 60% confidence level.
