Critics are outraged after shocking video surfaced of Ohio school officials discussing how they can push critical race theory covertly, working around school policies already in place.
Very glad to hear what Project Veritas has been up to. Critical race theory is nothing but the most brutish form of racism. Got to stop it in its tracks.
That is a wealthy school district near Columbus. It's the kind of district that parents assume is doing a good job. With that video out, at least a few parents will be keeping an eye on the school.
We need to break the ed school monopoly on teacher certification. As long as nearly all teachers have to pass through an indoctrination center before they can get into the classroom, we will always have people like this in charge of our schools.
Teaching certificates and degrees do not correlate with teacher success. Good teachers overwhelmingly say that what they learned about teaching, they learned in the classroom and from other teachers in their school, not from ed schools. Teachers who get into the classroom through alternate pathways have been shown to be just as good as those that passed through the ed school pipeline.
Center and center right state legislatures and governors should make and encourage alternate pathways into schools.
