A Sad Day At West Point

Taps vigils, which we held whenever a cadet died, were always emotional experiences. I assume cadets still hold them, and there has recently been another one:
A “heartbroken” U.S. Military Academy at West Point has announced the death of a top senior cadet who suffered fatal injuries in a skiing accident.

Class of 2019 cadet Peter Zhu, 21, was involved in a bad accident while skiing Feb. 23 at the West Point ski slope. West Point officials said he died Thursday...

Zhu, of Concord, Calif., was president of the Cadet Medical Society. He was planning to attend medical school at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
Be thou at peace.
