Your link works fine for me. I will add that if you haven't seen this post, you might find it interesting. While the second amendment was written primarily to protect the people from the government, the writer makes a good case for the right to bear arms as a means of lessoning the chances of being attacked. You can find it here.

Much state-level gun purchase, carry and ownership restrictions date from the same period when the Ku Klux Klan was powerful enough to elect mayors, governors and senators.
