The Covid Disaster showed us that people in authority and experts will mislead us and aren't particularly worried about the consequences. When debate is shutdown, they are lying to us.
There are many reasons to be skeptical about climate change, but I'm not a climatologist. We do know the WEF and the elite want us to eat crickets, own nothing, and shut up.
The Earth could be getting warmer. If it is, then is it only because of human activity?
Anyone who is concerned about our carbon dioxide emissions should be a big supporter of building more nuclear power plants. If they think that electric cars, wind turbines and solar panels will do the job, they aren't serious people.
The Earth could be getting warmer, and we can't dial civilization back sufficiently to stop it. In that case, it's a geoengineering project. That's scary because we could start an ice age. I'd be in favor of putting a sun shade at the L1 Lagrange point between the Earth and the Sun.
We know it was warmer in the recent past, as evidenced by the remains of Greenland settlements uncovered when glaciers recede, and as evidenced by wine grapes growing in England and "Vinland".
Lots more people die on this planet from cold than from heat. Humans thrive when it's warm.
If we can continue to improve our standard of living as a species and *not* pollute so much, as a conservationist I'm all for that. That's partly why I prefer nuclear power to hydroelectric, natural gas, and coal. We've made improvements via technology throughout my lifetime, and I see no need to go back to eating crickets and living in huts to "save the earth".
And for those of you too young to remember the 90s, I remember what happened in Sarajevo during the siege. The lesson seared into my mind was that humans will stay warm, even if they have to burn all the wood they can find to do it.

I'm with the no emergency and my trust for ANY politician is at an all time low.
I'm including certain railway executives in that mistrust because of everything that is going wrong at East Palestine, OH
To answer the question, I would trust THE ALGORE and THE OBAMA, of course. ;<)
