Spam
The less I blog (and I know I haven't been blogging much lately), the more spam I get.
How does that work?

There's been an upsurge lately. I'm getting more in my spam folder.
Has to do with the effort to suppress spammers.
A two or three months ago a network of spam servers was taken down and I went days with nothing in my spam folder. Now the volume's building up again.
It's the operation of the free market and while I wholeheartedly support the free market that doesn't mean I don't understand, and accept, that some of the results thereof are less then agreeable.
But the free market giveth as well as taketh away and on balance giveth a lot more then it taketh away so the vast bulk of the spam I receive hits my spam folder, convenient for disposal, because there's value in a good spam filter and Yahoo monetizes that value.
