You can tell that the movement has lost popular support because the press suddenly stopped the breathless coverage. As I predicted, once it became clear the movement was hurting the Democrats, the coverage dried up.Remember that less than 2 months ago there was a suggestion that my local union officially support that movement. I said then that they were a day late and a dollar short; I was right then, and even more right now.
Education, politics, and anything else that catches my attention.

Why Don't You Hear Much About "Occupy" Protests Anymore?

As did I. Predict that the "Occupy" movement was destined for a quick death that is.
When the left is losing on an issue they lose interest in the issue.
Evidence gun control. Used to be that you couldn't crack a newspaper or look at a news site without some story carrying water for the likes of Handgun Control. Now? Nary a mention.
Similarly, the lefties who now have a disproportionate degree of control in the Democratic party were hoping to use the "Occupy" movement as shock troops to hold off conservative Democrats - yes, they exist and threaten left-wing control of the party. But I don't think it worked since the "Occupy" movement's nothing more then a long, drawn-out temper tantrum. Not the sort of thing that has long-term attraction for adults.
