OK, I was going to say the Amazon or maybe a fictional land of Amazonia because I know she came from a race called the Amazons.
However, I just looked it up online and realize that I don't have the right answer (although her race is the Amazons). Do you know these things off the top of your head or do you use the I-net to come up with them? Hard to believe a normal person knows how to spell her homeland let alone remember it.
Turns out Wonder Woman's actually the daughter of a couple of Polish immigrants from Vitebsk but you know how kids are. So she concocted the whole "invisible island" con because growing up in a blue-collar neighborhood in the Detroit area just didn't work for her.
Steve, for the most part I know the answers off the top of my head. Infrequently, I'll come up with a question I find interesting and will guess and then look up the answer, or I might look up information so I can expound upon an answer.
There's an old quote that I'll paraphrase: "There is much pleasure to be gained by the collection of useless knowledge." In this regard I am *very* pleased :-)
I agree with you about useless knowledge. That's why I enjoy your Trivia. I guess I just wanted to make sure it was a level playing field. I expected you to play fair but after seeing "Themyscira," I began to wonder if you used the I-net to get questions for which we couldn't use the I-net to answer.
So its your brain-load of useless knowledge against ours - GAME ON!

Hope this helps.
