The Die Is Cast

Well, the ballot is, anyway. I'm a "permanent absentee voter", or whatever they call me, and I vote from home by mail. Tonight I filled in my ballot and sealed the envelope; tomorrow I'll walk to the mailbox and be done with it.

are you gonna share what you voted?

Let me guess McKinney-Clemente? :) I wonder why you didn't mention that most of the fraudulent ACORN registrations were turned in by low level workers paid per signature or that the LA Times piece talks about voter fraud in general including ACORN. Both camps have their fair share of people willing to lie, cheat, and steal for money, but I doubt either campaign really supports voter fraud.

Our kids live in the same county but attend college in another town. To encourage college students to vote, the state has allowed counties to accept anyone for early voting at any polling place in the county. Our early voting starts Monday. I will probably vote that day. I am so ready for this all to be over. And I am truthfully dreading what is to come.

I'm working the polls. If there's any funky crap, other than the usual, I will report it.

No, I'm not going to share how I voted, and Ronnie, please don't try to claim some "moral equivalence" between the parties and voter fraud.

Hurrah for absentee ballots.

I heard that one of the propositions in my area got changed before the ballots went out, but thankfully when I checked, that rumor was untrue.

But I have heard that the absentee ballots are counted as an afterthought.
if that's true, i'm going to be very sad for a very long time.

If life sized cardboard cutouts are anything to go by, I'm pretty sure I know who you voted for.

You don't think *I* bought that, do you?

Obviously he voted for McCain. The sad truth is he doesn't really pay attention to the candidate, just the party. Luckily, most of us don't. :)

Darren,
Aren't you going to bow down to the obvious superior intellect of the Left? They are so much better than us. They tell us that all the time. Which is why any of our fears or our concerns are worthless. Damned elitists.

Maybe Darren voted for Obama with the hope that we will get a four year repreive from the constant whining from the Left.
