Why Don't You Hear Much About "Occupy" Protests Anymore?

Here's why:
You can tell that the movement has lost popular support because the press suddenly stopped the breathless coverage. As I predicted, once it became clear the movement was hurting the Democrats, the coverage dried up.
Remember that less than 2 months ago there was a suggestion that my local union officially support that movement. I said then that they were a day late and a dollar short; I was right then, and even more right now.

As did I. Predict that the "Occupy" movement was destined for a quick death that is.

When the left is losing on an issue they lose interest in the issue.

Evidence gun control. Used to be that you couldn't crack a newspaper or look at a news site without some story carrying water for the likes of Handgun Control. Now? Nary a mention.

Similarly, the lefties who now have a disproportionate degree of control in the Democratic party were hoping to use the "Occupy" movement as shock troops to hold off conservative Democrats - yes, they exist and threaten left-wing control of the party. But I don't think it worked since the "Occupy" movement's nothing more then a long, drawn-out temper tantrum. Not the sort of thing that has long-term attraction for adults.
