Another University With Issues

I've written about Gallaudet University before. Students create trouble and blame everyone but themselves. Out comes a milquetoast report that assigns a little bit of blame to everyone involved, so no one group's feelings need be hurt.

Some universities need to hold their students to a higher standard of behavior than they currently do. Getting physical with police officers or anyone else is not protected by the First Amendment, and universities and society in general need to do a better job of teaching that.

Hire more deaf and hard-of-hearing cops?

Holy hell, every time I think the outermost limits of leftie creativity have been explored, mapped, plowed, planted and harvested I'm proven wrong. This opens up a vast range of exciting possibilities for identity politics based on the American Disabilities Act.

I cannot believe that there are still people in this world who think they can only be taught be folks just like themselves. By that right the blind should lead the blind, the paralyzed teach the paralyzed, and the stupid should teach the stupid. If those same ideas had been expressed by a white supremacist group we would have the FBI infiltrating and every media outlet dogging their paths. It's wrong. It's discriminatory and if the students at Galludet don't get that, then they are socially and intellectuall stunted.
