The answer to yesterday's question is:
The fire took place in 1871, so the decade was the 1870's. (Fritz' answer looks straight off my answer key!)
Today's question is:
What is the Japanese term for the “divine wind” (typhoon) that, in 1281, saved Japan from a Mongol Invasion?

Where is that answer key when I really need it? I looked at todays question and drew a complete mental blank. Sometimes the answers come to mind immediately when reading the questions. Other times I think to myself I should know that and later on the answer comes to me and occasionally I come back and post an answer when that happens. Then there are the ones that I don't know, but that I'm curious enough to look up and I find those fascinating because of what I learn.
Kamikaze!

The kamikaze. Fortunately for the US Navy, the human version of the kamikaze was much less effective than the divine version.
Kamikaze.
