Word out on TeacherNet is that students at our school are endeavoring to surreptitiously record teachers saying or doing something that, when posted on YouTube, might appear to be inappropriate. Some of these snippets have already been posted.
I wonder if, in doing so, students might not be breaking a law. I know that we are not allowed to record classes, except from behind, unless we get parental permission.
They're definitely violating a school rule by having a phone or other recording device out and in use.
