The house and dog are in good hands, and this allows my son and me to take a little trip this next week since it's Ski Week, officially Presidents Week, in our school district. I always explain to people, when they ask why there is a 5 day weekend, that it's a ski weekend. My friends from the midwest are mystified. Unfortunately, this year our kids are at different schools and their ski weekends didn't coincide.
