The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges can issue three levels of sanctions if it does not reaffirm a college's accreditation. This year it has sanctioned the following California community colleges:

PROBATION (midlevel sanction)

Moorpark College
Oxnard College
Palo Verde College

Shasta College
Ventura College
Victor Valley College
WARNING (low-level sanction)
Barstow College
Berkeley City College
College of Alameda
College of Marin
Columbia College
Evergreen Valley College
Fresno City College
Laney College
Merritt College
Merced College
Reedley College
San Diego Miramar College
Solano Community College
West Los Angeles College

Sacramento Area Looks Good!

ACCJC is simply rattling their sabers to keep their jobs. They got a lot of press over CCSF.
