Sacramento Area Looks Good!

Check it out, Sacramento junior colleges avoid the list of colleges facing sanctions, a rare bit of good news (or merely the absence of bad news) for the capitol region:
The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges can issue three levels of sanctions if it does not reaffirm a college's accreditation. This year it has sanctioned the following California community colleges:

SHOW CAUSE (strongest sanction)
City College of San Francisco
College of the Redwoods
Cuesta College
PROBATION (midlevel sanction)
Los Angeles Harbor College
Los Angeles Southwest College
Modesto Junior College
Moorpark College
Oxnard College
Palo Verde College
San Jose City College
Shasta College
Ventura College
Victor Valley College
WARNING (low-level sanction)
Barstow College
Berkeley City College
College of Alameda
College of Marin
Columbia College
Evergreen Valley College
Fresno City College
Laney College
Merritt College
Merced College
Reedley College
San Diego Miramar College
Solano Community College
West Los Angeles College
