From The Atlantic: “Obama’s big problem, I think, is that he is no longer the president he said he would be. Above all, he’s stopped trying to be that president.”When was he ever the president he said he'd be, outside of being a socialist?
This is not what I'd call leadership:
President Obama's budget suffered a second embarrassing defeat Wednesday, when senators voted 99-0 to reject it.If the president truly wanted to run against a do-nothing Congress, he could do worse than to start with the Democrat-run Senate, which hasn't passed a budget since before Obama was elected.
Coupled with the House's rejection in March, 414-0, that means Mr. Obama's budget has failed to win a single vote in support this year.
