Why Blogging Was Light Today

My son and I took our first glider ride today.

I could have learned to fly gliders--at no cost to me!--when I was an exchange cadet at the Air Force Academy, but I valued my free time instead. In hindsight, it wasn't the best decision I ever made.

Awesome man! It looked like a third person was doing the flying (correct me if I'm wrong)....you gonna get certified.....to pilot, not the other way you're certifiably. ;<)

Yes, we definitely had a pilot!

That's good, get him hooked on flying now so he can chose the correct service academy to attend.

So that's how you spent your Saturday. I spent mine cheering Army on to victory over Northwestern.

I guess they are both enjoyable things to do on a Saturday.

I'd have loved to have watched Army. My 25th reunion is at a game about a year from now....

All home games are televised on CBS College Sports channel. When you come up for your reunion, let me know. I'm a season ticket holder so I will be there.

I don't get cable, but I'll definitely let you know about the reunion.
