Good News Is Really Bad News

Here's an AP story that laments low unemployment!

Record low unemployment across parts of the West has created tough working conditions for business owners, who in places are being forced to boost wages or be creative to fill their jobs.

No doubt it's President Bush's fault!

That daily summary of the news I get from the Wall Street Journal had a similar article a couple of weeks ago.

HEADLINE: “Labor Cost Increasing…”

WSJ COMMENT: If this was the Clinton administration it would be called wages increasing.

I think this is a planted story. The liberals and many border businesses are so intent on making the flood of illegal immigrants appear benevolent that they will say or do anything to make that perception come true. Ask people in Watts and other inner city primarily African American neighborhoods if their sons and daughters are 100% employed. I guarantee they are not. And it is not because of discrimination, it is because of greed. Place in our own city that are primarily Hispanic WILL NOT HIRE PEOPLE WHO ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH. In a country where we are having to pay to educate the children of illegal immigrants and where citizens born here are being made to feel second class, this is a travesty. And if you listen to the media, they are following the Democrat talking points of nationalized health care as the key domestic issue. They will do anything to get illegal immigration put on the back burner legislatively.
