Fine Display of CTA Professionalism

Watch the so-called "professional" educators who want to compel everyone to give their money for left-wing political causes.

Then go to my May 2005 archives (at left), from May 25th on, and read my posts--and see pictures!--from a union rally at the California Capitol.

If you want to know why I am a proud non-member of the California Teachers Association, those posts and this video are all you need to see.

Ahhh, memories!
Since I was one of the two teachers who sent out the 90,000 emails to California teachers last year, watching this video was quite sentimental...a-hem...
I also remember a similar situation in Riverside, after I had been given the honor of introducing the Governor and John McCain during a Bus Tour Rally. As I was getting into the bus headed to Irwindale, the U-Bots were standing behind a fence chanting 'Shame on you' over and over. They even had children chanting with them, and as they stood there all I could think of was 'this is another form of child abuse'.
Since the defeat of the special election propositions, I have also joined the ranks of the un-union, non-member, agency fee payers...received a nice pro-rated refund (I'll get more next year), and best of all, retained my professional dignity as an educator, and distanced myself from these un-American protest tactics employed by the unions Rent-A-Thug division.
Watching this video will become as much of an important annual memorial for me, as viewing the attacks on the World Trade Center on 911.
What these union thugs did was attack our basic freedoms, and the only shame is on the part of the CTA/NEA.
Shame on THEM!

I probably don't have to explain to you, then, why I have never been, and never will be a member of the AAUP, eh?
