Good information. There are 22 RTW states and Department of Labor statistics reveal that citizens in those states keep more of what they earn. RTW states, such as Texas, are

Michigan isn't on the list. Yet. But several members of the legislature aren't put off by the governor stating that he's not interested a right-to-work fight so that might change.

Could it be that Obama's continued support for card check is designed to perpetuate unionism beyond it's natural demise? I think so. I don't see that unions offer anything meaningful for the average rank and file member. The crony system is alive and well. Connections and years count for more than merit and the chunk taken out for union dues is growing. While there are some aspects of my job I would change here in Texas, I think it's silly to say that unions are beneficial when some teachers in union states make less than I do.
