Saturday Trivia

The answer to yesterday's question is:
Mikhael Gorbachev.

Today's question is:
What “new” product was released to lavish fanfare in April 1985, but was such a marketing flop that the “old” product was restored less than 3 months later?

  10. New Coke?
I hope so. I tell my students every year about the "New Coke fiasco of the 80's". They are, of course, too young to remember.

  11. I don't always drink Cola, but when I do, I drink Pepsi.
I really liked the New Coke when it came out. I remember it as the Max Headrom Coke. The whole thing may have been a marketing ploy, but I was sorry to see it go away.
BTW I'll drink a Coke if that is all that the restaurant serves (In N Out).
