Ooh! The infamous "Heidi" game. I was actually watching that game on TV. It was the New York Jets at the Oakland Raiders. After NBC left the game to show the movie Heidi, the Raiders scored two touchdowns to come from behind and win the game.
For those who don't know, that game is why the networks follow each game to its conclusion rather than face the wrath of outraged football fans who get upset when they can't watch the end of their favorite teams' games. That, of course, then causes the rest of that networks programming to be delayed, which is really no big deal since there's nothing else worth watching on the alphabet networks anyway.
AFL - Raiders vs. Jets before the merger.
