Thursday Trivia

The answer to yesterday's question is:
Kirkland, Washington (hence, its Kirkland Signature product line).

Today's question is:
Which famous American is on the $2 bill?

6 comments:

  1. I think that it's Thomas Jefferson.
The $2 bet at the track is the reason that the $2.00 bill never caught on, or so I am told.
    Negative association with gambling.

It's too bad, the government could save some money printing bills if their was more demand for $2.00 notes.

All the signers of the Declaration of Independence...or is it the Constitution? It's been about 6 or 7 years since I last saw a $2 bill. :\

  4. Hamilton I think, but it has been years since a two dollar bill crossed my palm. I'm almost confident enough to bet I'm right, but...

In a general sense, there are no American's on the $2 bill.

I will volunteer that one famous American whose *image* is on the $2 bill is Benjamin Franklin. He is standing next to Thomas Jefferson, another famous American.

    :-)
