Imagine how much more dependent we'll be on computers in eight thousand years and how much more confusing and difficult to modify the relevant programs will be by then.
It's not too late to start stockpiling ammunition, dried food and everything else necessary to restart civilization after all the unprepared die off.

ReplyDeleteAll the half-assed patching of programs to switch from a two digit year to a four digit year comes unglued in only eight thousand or so years.
