Journey
I buy DVD's/blu-rays all the time, but the last CD I can remember buying was about 8 years ago; usually I just buy individual songs from iTunes or Amazon. I stopped by Best Buy today, though, to check out movies and saw this 2-CD Journey set for only $10 and had to buy it. Check out the songs!
I'd go out and buy it right now except that it doesn't have my favorite Journey tune, Rubicon.
ReplyDelete"Open Arms" is a brain worm that drives me nuts and I fact it's over 30 years old....waaaaaaaa
ReplyDeleteYea, my 40 year reunion is this fall. Over the hill, what hill, I don't remember their being a hill!
MikeAT, I call BS. You are *not* 10 years older than I am.
ReplyDeleteI just can't type these days...not good seeing I'm finishing my class paper :)
ReplyDeleteJourney will be playing at Harvey's (South Shore) the weekend after Labor Day. Great venue, should be fun!
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all ... for a really interesting contrast? Check out the first three albums, when they were essentially Santana's former backup band ... a very different sound.
ReplyDeleteI might also add ... it really should be a criminal offense to release a Journey album that doesn't pair "Anytime" with "Just the Same Way" ... they were meant to be together, especially since that was basically the transition between Greg Rolie on vox to Steve Perry ...nonetheless, a pretty good compilation.
