Marc Lamont Hill ✔ @marclamonthillTo which I say to Mr. Lamont, You are correct, sir.
We have a permanent warfare state and liberals say nothing. Sometimes, it feels like the Left wasn't anti-war. It was just anti-Bush.
Let's read on:
Stop the presses! Did über-lefty Prof. Marc Lamont Hill just admit that Bush Derangement Syndrome is a real phenomenon?Yep.
...
Let’s be clear, here: we’re not trying to suggest that Hill suddenly “gets it.” Rather, we’re drawing attention to the fact that he’s figured out that maybe, just maybe, the biggest issue the Left had (and still has) with George W. Bush is George W. Bush.
Posts the guy who has a 'tag' for Barack Obama and none for George W. Bush. Oh, the irony.
ReplyDeleteI'm not seeing any more irony than I encounter in Alanis Morisette's "Isn't It Ironic". Perhaps that in itself is ironic.
ReplyDeleteTry again, and please try to stay at least somewhat on topic.
I wouldn't get too excited.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up is hard to do so the vast majority of lefties will studiously ignore such observations, even by their long-time fellow travelers, in favor of ever-so-clever but specious comparisons like the first poster or simply ignore them altogether. A conflict with the inner narrative of superiority is always resolved in favor of the inner narrative.
Well DSM-5 is out and if binge eating and such are listed, I'm sure Bush Derangement Syndrome is in there somewhere.
