For the first time in forever I don't teach algebra! Because I start my master's program next Monday my department chair cut me some slack and gave me only two courses to prep for instead of three: statistics (x3) and pre-calculus (x2). I can probably sneak in some vector calculus in the latter :)
Good to hear! Now sneak in some vector calculus when teaching them algebra, just for fun.

ReplyDeleteHow's that possible? Public schools are a disaster and in a state of failure.

Welcome back, D., and good luck on another year.
Wow; we get a week of prep and training before students show up. I like that since it allows me to sync my sleep clock to the job.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I'm amazed that more states don't do that....
(I'm in Texas, for what it's worth.)
