Carrying a Dagger To School

If you're a Sikh, you can carry a (dulled) dagger to school. But put green plastic army men and a small American flag on your baseball cap for Crazy Hat Day, and you could be in deep crap because of the zero-tolerance ban on "weapons"--yes, the tiny plastic representations of weapons carried by the tiny plastic army men! Take a nerf gun (that shoots ping pong-type balls) to school and you get charged with a misdemeanor!
