The answer to yesterday's question is:
Fergie.
Today's question is:
During the decade of the 70's, Jefferson Starship, Steely Dan, and Fleetwood Mac all released popular (lots of radio play time) songs in which the title was just a woman's first name. Identify any two of these songs. (Rhiannon doesn't count, it's not really a woman's name!)
Rosanna, Georgie,
ReplyDelete5, by my count: 'Sara' and 'Jane' by Jefferson Starship; 'Peg' and 'Josie' by Steely Dan; 'Sara' by Fleetwood Mac
ReplyDeleteWTF - Rhiannon is not really a woman's name? It was when I was growing up back in Wales. She was kindofa "witch", and usually the "popular" girl.
ReplyDeleteNow Steely Dan's girls could have been Josie, Maxine, or Peg. But I digress...
Jefferson Airplane/Starship and Fleetwood Mac (post Peter Green) were utter crap, so they deserve to be totally ignored. Your honor, I enter into evidence the fact that the Clintons liked the later version of Fleetwood Mac. Barf....
Jane
ReplyDeletePeg
Rikki
Sara
Peg - Steely Dan
ReplyDeleteHow can you put one of the all time greats, Steely Dan, in the same sentence phrasing as Jefferson Starship?! :)
Rhiannon was also the name of a girl in the movie I saw today . . .
