ReplyDeleteObama's on the wrong side of the divide as far as many lefties are concerned but he's not alone. There's Democrats for Education Reform, the Citizen's Committee for Civil Rights and probably others I haven't come across.
The inevitable explosion hasn't occurred yet but sooner or later there's going to come a public watershed event because I don't think there's any way to paper-over the differences between the two sides.
As usual, the Republicans are largely clueless on the matter of course.
