Tuesday Trivia

The answer to yesterday's question is:
Constitution-class.

BONUS SHIP CLASS QUESTION: What classes of ship were Enterprise 1701, 1701-A, 1701-B (Generations), 1701-C (Next Generation episode Yesterday's Enterprise), 1701-D, and 1701-E (First Contact and beyond)? (The first two should be extremely easy!)

Today's question is:
In what language does Uhura mean “freedom”?

  1. Hmm...1701 and 1701-A were Constitution class ships, 1701-B was an Excelsior class ship, 1701-C I don't know without looking it up, 1701-D was a Galaxy class and 1701-E is a Sovreign class ship.

Uhura means freedom in Swahili, Uhura's native language.

  3. You forgot the Enterprise from "Enterprise!" That is an "NX" class vessel.

    1701 and 1701-A: Constitution class.

    1701-B: Excelsior class.

    1701-C: Ambassador class.

    1701-D: Galaxy class.

    1701-E: Sovereign class.

As for Uhura, I'm guessing Swahili.
