With President Obama, Real Science Will Rule The Day
I have an atheist friend who was convinced that President Bush, because of his professed Christianity, just didn't take "real science" seriously. President Obama is supposed to change that.
As with Global Warming and countless other bits of science fact, the politicians will pick and choose whatever suits their agendas at the time. Right now, Global Warming/Change is the byword for all manufacturing. Down the road, if the green initiatives cause more unemployment and more economic hardships, I am willing to bet the rhetoric will switch to another more palliative approach. Such is the situation of politics that care more about polling than problemsolving.
